I had an issue with one of the hoses from the heater core popping during the cars emissions testing before lockdown around 6 months ago and am now just getting off my arse to sort it properly. However I cannot work out for the life of me the correct order & routing of the coolant hoses including the heater valve. Car is a turbo 940 in RHD with the B230FK engine and it had AC from the factory.
I believe the coolant should flow from the outlet under the cylinder head to the bottom of the heater core. from the top of the heater core it should connect to the long metal pipe that runs behind the head to the oil cooler. Is this right? Where should the valve go in all this?
I've done a lot of searching and can't find a diagram that makes sense and shows the valve to try and piece it together myself. Does anyone have a diagram even for a LHD car i can use?
