Car is gonna stay 189 white even when I get it repainted.

Machine shop @ FDL Auto Machine (Tim) did this for me on the spot so I wouldn't have to make a trip to pick it up - he rules:

Didn't take any weight out of it.

Found a m46 in the shed (I have three) that had only 186k miles on it, new gaskets, new 4th gear switch, and clean, so screw rebuilding the leaky OD on my other m46, I'll blow this one up first:

Also found a different B230 intake manifold that doesn't have EGR like the squirter block did. They also bent the fuel rail on my squirter block, so gonna use this one:

Also found the necessary radiator hoses to run the watercooled 15g in my car, B230F heater pipe, w/o the nipple for the oil-water cooler, and a cleaner oil cooler.

I need a square tooth B230 crank gear now!

I'm bored not working on the car so might as well post some more pics:

LH3.1 TPS out of a 240, perfect for MS - note: it doesn't have adjusting slots like other Volvo TPS's do

OK, if you're gonna get black door handles, pay attention - here's a good one

Here's one that the top section is drooping, as most of them are. It's annoying and pisses me off! It actually hits the handle when you're opening the door.

Love these mudflaps, bought them on eBay from .... Jaguar graveyard or something like that. They're replicas, but they're nice.

And now I gotta figure out what to do to wire up the E-code (86+) head lights - these are the stock wiring head light connectors:

cool man, i love your pics. Nice project. Why not toss in the 16V direectly?

And maybee this question is not ment to be in this section but I saw lots of pics of your M46 here. Is there a place on the M46/flywheel for a MS flywheelsensor? Caus i am having probs with my 36-1 VR-setup all the time. So i am thinkin about converting to flywheelsensoring the 245. But is it possible from stock? Or do I have to replace the flywheel?

I have a 531 and a 16 valve, but for now I just want to get the car up and running with MS and make sure the brakes and suspension and everything else is good. Also, I'll be running the M46 for a while and the 16 valve would kill that pretty fast. From the 530 I'm gonna swap on a big valve, ported 531, then go to 16 valve. Learn along the way.

As far as the flywheel sensor, I'm not sure yet. I don't know enough about MS on what is required to make it happen. I am just going to use the LH2.2 distributor with the hall sensor to determine engine speed - have you looked into that? Seems easy enough.

This little bastard cost me $24 shipped - it was like $14 + $10 for handling charges - from Summit. Necessary to use my oil pressure gauge though on the B230F block:

Dropped some dough on wiring ****, about time to wire up MS:

Thanks, man.

Good pics, Joel! And thanks for the help. Didn't get a lot done, but progress is progress. Picked up 4 Volans with rubber today so now the 244 will have 4 volans, two spares, and the Titans can go on the S70 finally.

Too bad my week off is over. Gonna try to make it home a weekend or two and then I have spring break so hopefully I can get this thing to run!
