Join us for... Volvos At The Ocean


For our spring meet, we will be gathering at the Volvo Ocean Race in Newport RI. The Race Village is located at Fort Adams State Park. The Volvo Ocean Race has been sponsored by Volvo since 1973. Here's a great video highlighting some history https://youtu.be/Cp4ydArnzgc


All vintage and modern Volvos including daily drivers are welcome! We hope to see you there!

? We have reserved parking for our Volvo meet! Specify you are with the Volvo Club to be directed to our reserved parking area.
? A guided tour of the race village will commence at 12:00 noon.
? Complimentary goodie bags will be provided by Volvo.
? Food and beverage available for purchase on-site. Or feel free to pack a cooler.
? Explore the race village and experience a variety of sailing-, ocean race-, and Volvo-related activities.

Parking
Please expect a slow approach to parking! Our club will be in Parking Lot A (Rugby Field).

Tour
Allow plenty of time to enter the Race Village. Then gather promptly at 11:45 AM in the Visitors Center at the Volvo Pavilion Hospitality Desk for the tour! Our tour reservation is under Dennis Hrabchak.
