I've got some 27x8.5 14" general grabber at2's on my 240.
Very little trimmage needed in the rear and the fronts just barely rub the spring perches, but not enough to have to do anything about.
They raised the car up about 1.5" but I dont think I'd want to go any higher.
They got me high enough off the ground that I dont hit the diff on stuff all the time anymore, but I need a skidplate because I tore up a front subframe once already.
Gearing absolutely sucks with the m47 and the 3.31 in the rear. Like 2050rpms in 5th at 60. Bleh! Need a 4.10.

But I have an idea, Ill just do it.. and my car has lowering springs on it as well, so it should be good for a few laughs. Oh yeah, I only have two tires also so theyre going on the back with 185/60/R14s on the front. :rofl: Can you say raked? They're brand new winters though so I'm going to slap them on for the next crazy snow fall and go out cruisin.
 
I started a project thread for Mad Max since I get more questions about that car than just about anything else. :lol:

I tried to list everything in order and add pictures, but it has been a while and it's a little hard to re-create a build like this where things get done on the cheap and when I don't have anything else to do.

In the project thread, it is photoshopped. I had something holding up the brush guard as a test fit or something like that. Been a while now so I don't remember exactly what it was. Car is now like it is in the pics, so it doesn't really matter. Oscar (noslovo) is a friend and just giving me a hard time. ;-)
 
Speaking of giving Pat a hard time, since you're hanging out posting rather than wrenching, how about some new 5-lung porn shots for me man! I've been slammed with work so I haven't been able to make it up there. :-D And please, don't make me publicly dry-hump your leg for pix again this time.:grrr: That ish chafes.
