Hello

I want to make my b230ft/fk garrett T3 project to run with 16v.
now my questions is can I use the 16v head from a b234(non turbo)
is this head strong enough for running with a turbo?
and wath are the differents with a 16v head from a turbo?
If its posible what are the extra parts I need to remove from the engine?
And can I use my own computers from the b230ft are do I need other ones?

I will made the manifolds myself. and take the rotor from a saab.

Can someone help me with my qustions
Thanks

Please read our 16v tech article here, it should answer any questions you have. If not tell me so I can add that information.

nice article.

I think you need to comment also on a 240 you need to bang in the firewall to be able to remove top half from bottom half while it's in the car, I think I remember reading that

If your serious about using a 16valve head, why use a distributor at all? wasted spark is your friend.

You would be surprised at the reasons for using a distributor on a 16V conversion. It is not always necessary, but just an option for those who seek it.
