stock speaker size?

Hey guys,

I blew my front 4" speakers awhile back and they sound terrible... but if I remember correctly, they are really shallow and almost all the 4" speakers out there are too deep for the stock mounting location.

What is the max depth for the 4" door speakers (on the front)?

Forget the 4", go with 6.5" speakers

i bought Sony Xplod 4 inch fronts and they work great!

XS-W4021 to be exact. they work great, except i wish i had gotten the speaker grilles for them... i might buy those right now actually haha.

I've got 5.25" Kenwoods in the front and 4" in the back all with grills. They sound great. I had to cut a tad around the hole for the fronts to fit. But they fit perfect and sound great.
