HELP!!!! '71 140 Steering Lock Broken!!!!

Actually, a tumbler fell into the key cylinder and now I can't get my key in. I have most of it taken apart; and I can start the car by turning the switch that's unbolted from the left side of the ignition switch. BUT: the steering lock is still on so I can't drive it. Suggestions? I'd like to avoid having it towed. The car is in a movie rental parking lot.
