volvo 940/960 - dash & D-pillar speakers?

There's actually 2 types of dash speakers. Ones like Jerd showed and then some larger format (but still shallow) tweeter/midranges that are (from memory) about 1.5" diameter. I used to have both kinds, but they went away with my project cars. I personally wouldn't bother with components in the rear. But some people like rear-fill sound. The dash location isn't horrible if you can spend some time fine-tuning the aiming. Getting the sound away from the instrument cluster hood is the big challenge. Along with the early reflections at the windshield.
