AW70 Mod?

I'm sure this topic has been discussed before, but I'm gonna ask anyway. Can I do the valve body mod to my AW-70 in my '89? Is the valve body the same? Has anyone else done this? If so, do you have any pictures of it?

I'm not doing this because of the monstrous 136 foot pounds of torque this baby produces, I just want my transmission to last a little longer.
