Started the race with a slipping clutch and didn't know it cause we didn't do Friday practice. The taller McLeod release bearing bottomed out against the V6 front bearing cover so the pressure plate was always partially disengaged. Probably why we had to pull the trans in with the bolt when putting it in. Quick accel in 2nd or more than very very light accel in 3rd would make it slip. Gradually got good enough that I was able to roll into 2nd and go full throttle, but 3rd wouldn't take full throttle til well after torque peak once the RPM was up.

Pit for nearly 5hr. I went home to get a Getrag clutch disc cause we didn't have a spare T5 disc and thought that might be it. Found loose PP, shuffled transmissions in and out, figured out the problem, decided to use this race as an opportunity to test the rebuilt trans so swapped over the shifter, had to modify the trans cross member, find ATF and fill it, etc.

Andy got run into, or ran into a BMW Saturday, minor crumpling, no big deal we got right back out.

The clutch cable broke on pit-in Sunday, had to borrow a spare and swap it in.

The turbo failed on the last lap of the race, suspect broken turbine shaft.

Overall, not a great result finishing 65th of 97.
