I love the 245 in the rock quarry/puddle. That little wing is so bitchin. Subtle but sexy.

good thread idea Cameron.

Heres 4 cars that were key inspiration for me in the last 10 years...

The first car i saw that made me want to do more than paint the caps on my virgos (circa 1998 thanks to tractor-pulling-center for showing modded volvos to the US)

...and heres what it looks like today (not a fan of those wheels though)

Next was the original b&w photos of this car which i dont have anymore but i think i can thank anthony hyde for sharring the original back in '99 maybe?

The one i stared at the most and even found the back issue of bilsport with it... one of my all time favorites (550hp on an 8v motor btw)

Of course you cant forget this car which became rather popular

Cameron, I would pimp that wagon too even with the bottle cap rims. That makes me want a 245 SO freaking badly.

I know, right?! Guess I better crank the coilovers down some more on my wagon when I get it running again w/ the new engine. Ground clearance be damned!

Just you wait, my current springs bottom out the perch on the tires, which is why I've got some 6"x350s sitting on the bench waiting until after the autox this weekend to go in.

Reverse open hood? Or just poorly aligned? Either way, very very nice car.

I think i've seen underhood shots of that car before... The hood is jacked up to allow extra heat to dissapate... cause there is something hot under there

Yes Cameron... Greg has the car, here in CT... I believe he's in the middle of rewiring the whole thing right now. Last time I saw the car was like back in December, Greg and I pulled the stereo system out and it resides in my car now.

Except because of the low pressure area at the base of the windshield, it doesn't work at speed. Guess it would be OK while sitting....

I think you mean high pressure, but yeah I don't see how that would help with cooling at all.
