Is that Nat Bailey Stadium in the background?

Yup! It's the new community centre right by it. Was the old Olympic curling arena.

Cute.

A little too FWD for my taste, but worth stopping to photograph, not worth worrying about the focus, apparently.

I saw this recently also:

Made me laugh, I don't know what this Maserati is worth, but the owner is apparently too cheap to get a front plate mount sorted out.

Zipties, on a Maserati.

That can't be good for airflow. Maybe it's the winter-only scheme, cleverly occluding part of the radiator to compensate for the cold air temperatures.

In the summer they will configure the plate to be a spoiler, with more zipties.

This thread makes me miss Vancouver. Visiting is enough though, I'd only be able to afford a 240 out there with all the taxes and cost of living there!

You make it sound like this is a problem. I don't get it?

Yeah, cost of living can be pretty high here. Owning an old Volvo helps. Love how cheap insurance is for it.

I always love seeing old Volvos on the streets here. They're not just things to collect, but they're cars that are still being used today. Take this lovely 242 DL I snapped at Park Royal the other day:

And speaking of the North Shore, I always see this bloke around. Every season he has these rims, but I think it'd look much better with bigger ones!

Keep an eye out for the Darth Wagon. I'll be moving down there in the spring!

Athal,

O RLY?

Welcome to the PacNW (or PacSW for Canada)... Guess that means that you'll be able to get rust-free parts by hitting up the Seattle area Pick-n-Pull yards.

Not sure if this was directed at me, but...

I've posted a few Volvos in this thread, all spotted in Vancouver
proper. Strathcona has the nicest Volvos.

The silly Maserati was spotted in Port Moody, but that is still
Metro Vancouver.

If your complaint is about the Port Moody car, let me remind you
that Park Royal is not in Vancouver either.

Not you, it was the guy who's post has been deleted by Capt. Bondo. It was right above that post of mine you quoted. I know what Port Moody is and it is Metro Vancouver.

Asking $500 OBO

Located in Vancouver, BC. Prefer not to ship (cough cough local guys) but can be arranged

Thanks
