haha same here we hit a killer storm on the way home also the front of the car was doing nothing but sliding out. and even with our 3 wiper speeds super slow was no help :p lol

Yeah, my first meet driving my own volvo and it was awesome. Got to meet some new people, see some new car and let people see what iv been trying to work on. It was nice to hear a little feedback on what iv done so far. One day i might get around to a project tread.

damn that was fun! we need to have another one before this summer is over guys! that was a good location too but maybe we can do something a little closer to the western side of NC so those guys don't have to keep driving out to meets as far away as raleigh

(only because you were lamenting your turbolessness)

i have to say, next time we have a meet, lets like plan a drive before hand, and then pass out a map or something. at first, i was trying to stay back so the slower cars could keep up, but i didn't knwo where i was going, so i had to go fast too.. had a blast though!

Yeah, the ride could've used more planning and been about 30-45 min long instead of 10.

Other than that, I had a great time!

I vote for this. I didn't mind the drive but I know it's long for the guys in Charlotte. My vote is still Tanglewood. It's right outside of Winston Salem. An hour-ish from Charlotte, two hours from Raleigh. I think it's like $2 or $3 to get in all day. And we could all play golf...er... something. Not really. But it's pretty scenic. I'm sure there would be good photo ops inside the park but maybe less of a chance for rolling shots. Either way, just a thought, but I definitely agree we need to do something again before summer is over.

we could do a bracketed cruise, slow cars all stick together and the fast cars get to go play with boost :-P

then ill get lh'd and hang with the slow cars....

oh and brownbrik wins the award for most photogenic and most unexpectedly awesome car.
