![]() NICE! I have one from a 3.8 Camaro (non WC). I'm hoping I'll find something nicer by the time I break 2 M47's and 2 m46's I have too.

![]() Sold the 2 piece driveshaft, going to do a 1 piece setup to cut some cost. Selling the 6 puck clutch to replace with a full face disc from clutchnet. And im trying to source late model 4.10 ring and pinion.
I hope that the gear ratios will play out. I know this t5 is tall and with bigger tires im kinda worried that 4.10s wont be enough.... |

![]() Good luck finding a 4:10 1031 r&p. none of the 83+ cars came with them unless they special ordered them.
Edit: Check with Roy, maybe 7/9's had them? 91 Bertone rings a bell.

Resetting the pinion depth in another axle housing though...that's...work. I have a 3.91 1031, but no speed sensor ('84 244 Jurbo Automagic). |

![]() Just bought one of the twins flat flywheels with the 60-2 trigger.
AW70's 4th gear is .69 Im like 98% sure this t5 is .63 5th My tires are 27" tall. 3.73s and the aw70 im doing 70mph at 2,230rpm 4.10s and the T5 5th im doing 70mph at 2,260rpm So im thinking 4.10s will be fine. I have a set, im just not sure if they are 1030 or 1031. Here is the predicted speed with 4.10s at redline. ![]() Last edited by Jerd; 06-13-2015 at 02:01 PM.. |

![]() Got my flywheel from Scott. Mill work looks top notch and he even blasted the thing to remove the bulk of the rust. In my opinion this is the way to go for a flywheel. Buy one before they are no longer available.

![]() Bought a yoshifab driveshaft adapter off the guy i sold the 2 piece shaft to.
In other news, rear shocks are ****, don't buy pro comps... Cant wait to get the bilsteins installed. Got some spare trailing arms that i want to weld up some shock mounts to so i can adjust rear shock placement. Car idles like **** since i bought it back. Thought it would be an easy fix. Found a few vac leaks but that did not help. Checked the fuel pressure, thats fine. I hate troubleshooting sometimes. The guy did a bunch of work to the engine, head gasket, timing belt, oil seals, b-cam, etc. So figuring out what he did wrong is going to be fun... as far as installing the 4.10 ring and pinion, dan is thinking it would be much easier to find an entire carrier/pinion to swap instead of putting the gearset i have on my carrier. |
