Moved the 242 to do some garage rearranging and just had to take a pic of her, isn’t she pretty?! She’ll be running soon...

I hope you sent those harbor freight stands back if they are part of the recall list! Reference: http://turbobricks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=355029

I recently picked a 242t with the same paint code and I was seriously considering a color change but this picture has changed my mind and Im going back to original!

Thanks for heads up; my stands are ok and I’ve done at least a dozen carriage swaps With them! They are very robust. Someday I’ll get a lift!
I love the medium blue metallic #2. It’s a great shade and looks nice on the car. And thanks! You’ve had a hand in many of my builds good sir!

Continued progress; dash is in, interior almost complete, just finalized the turbo piping, and installing the headlights tonite.

More to go, but I see a light in the distance!

Yessir it was a good showing! I only wish the 242 was ready but I took the Saff instead. Here’s that 83 244 Turbo I picked up. It’s serving as a handy reference for the 242 build atm...

Josh Turner took this cool pic as we gathered at my place to caravan to the Gilmore.

Got the headlights, Corners and grill in. A lot of electrical contact work and soldering on the corners!

Beautiful 242. Do you have advice on removing and installing the rain gutter trim?
