![]() Made progress last week. Finished putting the valve cover back on after putting in the ipd cam, all the accessories and belts back on put the hoses on, started to pour water in and the reservoir was cracked.
Just to check if the throw out bearing needed shimmed, cracked it up to move it back and forth right quick. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=S-lxfo...ature=youtu.be I’m on call this weekend, and have been getting hammered with calls, so sometime this week doing a test drive before I upgrade the 13c to a 16t. My goal is driving and enjoying in a month. |

![]() I took it out last weekend, despite having a few more odds and ends I’m very pleased with how it’s turning out. I haven’t turned up the boost yet because I’m not trying to blow it up before mountain meet.
https://www.facebook.com/85500318/po...426246?sfns=mo I dropped it off at the detailer Monday to get a compound and polish, I’ll post before and after pics this weekend. |

![]() So it’s been a a while since my last update I’m really impressed with the before and after on the detailing, its not showroom but it’s considerably less sloppy mechanics than it was.
Before: ![]() ![]() ![]() After: ![]() ![]() And since my last post mountain meet has come and went, hats off to Jared again for putting it on every year, it really is a blast. My car did what it usually does: ![]() Front driver side brake pin froze up, was a complete bitch to get unstuck. We eventually did though. At least my car looked good while breaking down. ![]() Since mountain meet I have autocrossed it and got a time 2 seconds better than my goal. With a best of 53.464. That was within a second of the current generation mustang gt and camero ss that was out there so I was ecstatic about that. ![]() https://www.facebook.com/85500318/po...639666?sfns=mo I’ve also since then put a flame retardant shifter boot on and wired the line lock, I’m trying to get out to Atlanta dragway sometime in November to see what it will do in the quarter mile. ![]() Other than that me and little bit have been enjoying driving it and going to car shows every so often. ![]() Next on the docket is doing something more with the center console. I haven’t quite decided how I’m going to tackle that. I’m also continuing to go back and forth on megasquirting it. |

![]() Stuck in a rut. I want to do a winter upgrade but I’m torn between putting an 8.8 in the rear or megasquirt. I’d like more tunability because I think there’s more in the motor than the 2.4 is going to give me. The 8.8 be nice because the lunchbox locker makes it understeer ridiculous because sometimes the rear wheels will not unlock and it just plows. I am leaning more megasquirt. Thoughts? Ideas?

![]() So I dropped the trans to have a new slip yoke bushing installed because it leaks a quart of fluid every 2 weeks. Pulled the turbo off today sured up the makeshift wastegate bracket. Didn’t take pictures of **** so it may or may not have really happened. I’m gonna take Friday off to put the trans back in, FINALLY replace the brake pins, and do some tuning before the Charlotte autocross. I also bought the plug n play microsquirt but haven’t got around to installing it, gonna do that in March.

![]() I haven’t uploaded on here in forever but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been working on the car. I’ve got my shop to where it’s functional:
![]() And bought Kenny’s pnp microsquirt wired it for flex fuel: ![]() And took it down to Kenny to get it dynotuned: ![]() ![]() Kenny worked his magic and got 280/320. I’ve been mad stoked on it. I’m currently working on a launch control solution. I’m going to do a better job of documenting that. |
