Yes, inspirational - gives me the kick up the ass I needed to get on with my own 945 Supercharged project ! Been dormant too long - mainly due to lack of funds [ !! ], but hopefully my daily driver V70 will be sold soon to release some much needed funding.

I'll deal with all the cosmetic changes first [ already -40mm springs and Bilsteins ] and fitting my 7.5 x 16" Jag 5 spoke wheels and tyres - redundant from an abandoned Hot Rod project.

Please keep posting - and giving inspiration !!

I have bought me som new brake shields because the original is a bit rosty. However i don`t like the black paint on it, so i painted them in silver instead.

White - the ultimate PITA to make look 'new'. Love the plated brackets and latches - better than original. Man after my own heart. Devil's in the details.

Now take it to Gothenburg and park it next to the other show pieces. Dont want to get that dirty.

mtd240: I suspect "the wives" have a super-secret forum to discuss whether or not they will let us buy Volvo parts.
DavidSamuels: Not a website, a panel discussion/reality show. Real Housewives of Gothenburg.

^^^ Says BSR Optiflow heat shield for airfilter in the earlier post https://en.bsr.se/products/performan...lter/opti-flow
Also listed the trans as AW71L. Was that swapped and how is it holding up? I thought lock up converter transmissions were not used on Turbos.
