940 windscreen trim

Hi,

The windscreen trim on my 940 is looking a bit how's your father.

The rubber has deteriorated, the plastic coated metal is peeling off and the metal beneath is rusting.

Has anyone restored a windscreen trim? Or is the only option to buy new trims?

I have a plan to buy metal 740 trim and paint it to that Anthracite gray that I have on other trim lists around windows.

But as usual, just a plan

I didn't restore the weathered windscreen trim on my 92 940; on the recommendation of 2manyTurbos, I pulled the trim from a 95 940, bought new attachment clips and installed. Details are in my DD thread. Good luck.
