You could call that a head rest.

That’s so damn cool. Did they sell you the fabric and you then made up the pillow?

No, they sell the "head rest" complete as a pillow.

About 6 months ago I found this book via a seller in Australia. He was asking a great price for it, so I placed the order (and payed about 2x the price in shipping). Soon after, the seller messaged me to let me know that because our country and postal service was such a mess, he was going to cancel the order. However, he offered to hold onto the book for me until things had figured themselves out.

Anyway, he just emailed recently and offered to ship it! Excited to get my hands on it

There was a 940 at a junkyard here that was rear ended. It had the heckblende in the trunk but it was in 10+ pieces. I kinda regret not taking those pieces and figuring out how to glue it back together with a new backing. It's gone now.

Specs are:

17x9.5 ET6(ish) at the rear (as pictured here)

Looks like it was dyed red. Not worth the ticket price.

But the stitching is not dyed.
I would build a case and put that wheel on the wall.

The by far most common color is black. And the black version has red stitching

I knew they were offered in different colors but I didn't think red was one.

I had a nice used black leather wheel that style but I sold it to a TB'er in Oz and it's now on a 242GT race car.

https://forums.turbobricks.com/showp...&postcount=313

I had 2 NOS suede wheels but I sold one to someone in Norway years ago. I'm holding on to this one.
