It's for a modified D-Jet ECU that they used to sell.

The locking gas cap is for 140/164 -'73.

Does anybody know if a rim with lug pattern 5x114.3 will fit on a 1971 volvo 145s.... Or does anybody know the lug pattern for the 145s plz and thanks

Just a warning. All the decent 240-740 parts will be going after First of January. I am in the process of making a picture gallery of it all. It all goes for one price. No shipping. I will post when the pics are ready. 45 years of Volvo wrenching is enough.

That is a nice cap. Just opening it is part of the experience of the older cars. I had a plastic cap on my 242 for a day, went to get gas, and hated opening it.

No. In '74 140/164's received a revised quarter panel with a gas door and the cap style changed. This is the locking cap for late 140/164 and early 240.

Yeah that’s the type I have, but it got dropped at some point and the red plastic is all cracked and broken off...

I have a different style of metal cap, sorry if my comment was misleading. I just like the old metal gas caps.

Those black mirrors were used on the 242GT to go along with the black trim on the car. Nice find! You could probably also buy them as an accessory.

Cossie turbine housing with upgraded compressor housing. 90+, IPD remote oil filter. Some other goodness, too. Been lots of fun over 25 years. Restored in 2k. Now ready for a 2nd restoration. 1993 245 Classic, 430k miles, enem V15. IPD bars and chassis braces. Simons sport exhaust from Scandix. sbabbs ezk chip. Been a good road warrior. Genuine Volvo rebuilt leaky M47.
