I got T'd at an intersection in my 960 recently. Took the hit at the right wheel well and have body damage I'd like to possibly attempt to repair myself. I've never done body work, but I like the car and want to keep it! Here's the photos:

My thought would be to re-attach the bumper by replacing the clips behind it and maybe replace the quarter panel, if possible?

Any tips would be much appreciated.

That's all bolt on repairs. You got lucky in that respect. The front bumper slider can be reattached the the bumper using windshield urethane and short sheet metal screws that don't/won't go all the way through the bumper. I can explain in more detail later.

I'm not sure what the Green Book equivalent for the 960 is, I'm sure someone will chime in, but I would spend some time measuring before I invest too much effort into the repair. If the frame/suspension mounting points are bent it might not be worth getting it up on the frame machine to straighten.

It doesn't look too bad to me, but the fact that the wheel and control arm were torn off is concerning to me.

^^ The 960 has a 2 piece strut. I don't think anything was "torn off". The car was hit straight into the side of it. He mentioned the strut tube being bent in a PM to me. Worst case would be a bent cross member mounting point and having to replace the bolt in cross member.

I'd start with replacing the known shot suspension and steering components then getting it in for an alignment before buying any body parts. If it won't align then you'll know something is up with other components or possibly the suspension mounting points and you can decide where to go from there.

Yes. That should be the first step in the process.

I am replacing the strut, control arm, ball joint, sway link and tie rod ends to be safe. The control arm was snapped and the strut bent. Wheel is marred, too, but the tie rod is NOT bent. the cross member between the control arms is NOT bent.

i took the pictures after dissembling everything.

thanks for tip on getting alignment.

i was hit by a car going 10-20mph. If that tells anyone anything.

Replacing the fender is pretty simple. Bolts up top by the hood line, bolts behind the turn signal, two(?) bolts in the door jamb area and maybe a few more under the bumper and lower rocker cover. Drop the new one on, shim the gap, and tighten all bolts down.
