mtd240: I suspect "the wives" have a super-secret forum to discuss whether or not they will let us buy Volvo parts.

Ohh, cam seal retainer plate, that's good for at least 8hp.

Upgraded twin cam ECU, that's gotta be good for -8hp...

Nice shots!

Spotted yesterday in Strathcona, a blue-grey diesel 240 Bertone. Double rare.

It was moving too fast to get the camera out, despite being D24 powered.

In sadder news, the nice white Amazon wagon in Strathcona has been in a bit of a fender bender, and is now sporting a black front passenger fender and a wrinkle in the hood. A real shame.

Passed that same car going south on Oak on Sunday, just by 41st! Can't miss it.

With the multi-Xs and that tailpipe, this has to be a TBricker.

I'm with the Rikens. My friend picked up the 245 turbo manual off of craigslist. Plan is to weld it, chinabay turbo it, intercool it, and drive it while his rine becomes even more faster.

North Van today. I think this fits into both the hilarious and awesome groupings.

Met this guy while on my way out of Ralph's A-Scott-Wallet-Reapers. Young guy, used to work at Ed Schram's, pounced on this SE a while back when it was on craigslist. Very mint!

Talked shop for a bit, but he's not really on TB.

Last night (after a couple wobbly pops) while I was waiting for the bus I spotted a black post '90 744 with dual round driving lights mounted on the front bumper, yellow rally style mud flaps, and yellow stickers on the bottom of the front doors. Driving down kingsway just past broadway. The details are a bit hazy, but it was sweet and I've never seen in before...

I think the yellow 242 might be NotSoFresh on here. He had a car very similar anyways. And I see that blue wagon on meshies all the time in Yaletown. I actually see a lot of older Volvos down here but they're all stock and boring

Yep, by a large margin most 240s I see are still driven by old people and/or hippies. There's a blue one with flower stickers I've been meaning to put up on here.

There's a yellow 245 that's always around Main and 3rd. Brilliant colour, definitely not factory. Tons of Swedish hippie-mobiles on Main.

Heh, yeah whenever I see one that's cleaner or lower looking I'm all gawking in the window and it's invariably someone over 50 who looks like one (or more) of the following; librarian, accountant, professor, courier, great-grandparent, hating-every-second-of-their-miserable-existence.

Im not too sure how i feel about it... I kinda want to paint it the same black as the bumpers, but i feel like theres no point in that. Or maybe paint part of the bumpers silver? or go for some other style bumpers body color matched ones? Something doesnt look quite right...

P.s. Aj, I found something to use for the clips:

lolololol

...someone actually suddgested them in a old thread on here. I'm going to try it (taking off the silver pieces obvs)
