Mostly waiting for the right time to push forward. I donít want to take the car offline until the weather is a bit crappier. As far as the business goes, Iíve currently got a Facebook page (Atom Design & Development https://m.facebook.com/Atom-Design-D...1967670344492/ ), my Instagram is now the business account (@atomdd.com) and a website place holder for now (atomdd.com). This year my YouTube page will have a lot more project stuff as well.

We talked about this a while back, do fiberglass kick panels for adding speakers to stock 122s fit in to your new direction? Not sure how many you'd sell but I'd buy a pair.

Dang, I had no idea that you were on a trip prior. Will have to make time for another show, maybe in California. I might drive to the SF one next year if I have any reasonable confidence in the 242.

Well guys, I know I’ve been MIA, but I’ve just been out enjoying the car and driving/showing it all summer. I did recently win the Fabricator Award at the Seattle stop of the Hot Wheels Legends Tour.

Alas it isn’t the award that gets me a trip to SEMA and an opportunity to become a Hot Wheel next year.

Also, I’m taking pre-orders for a first run on Atom Design t-shirts. For the next 24 hours you can PayPal me $25 (including shipping in the US mainland) to adam@atomdd.com and let me know what size to be in on the first order. It’ll also get you on a spreadsheet for advanced info for more Atom Design & Development stuff in the future. (International orders will have to pay actual shipping costs, but can PayPal the initial $25 to get in)

I have commitments to have space in a couple magazines coming up. I have zero idea how solid those commitments are, so I’m not gonna post where just yet. Hope to most more this fall/winter!!

I forgot to mention that pre-ordering one of these shirts gets you on a list (if you so choose) to get early order information for upcoming gear/parts/etc. I'll be pulling from that list for beta testers as well.

Adam, I just saw your T-shirt sale. I think I am past the 24 hour mark but I would like to get a 2x shirt. Payment will be from my son's PayPal account -- long story -- . If you need more than $25 let me know.

I wrapped a face in gold vinyl to see the look. I’m not going to invest much time in them until I five lug convert and buy better wheels.

It was 48 hours on all my other social media, I just got on here a bit late, but if you’re L or XL, I ordered a few extra.

Shirts are in!

group6ix killed it on these. Keep an eye out for a message/email from me in the next few days if you pre-ordered a shirt (probably this weekend honestly).

I know, that’s awesome! Send me a pic wearing it next to a landmark somewhere. That’d be sweet!

Stand alone and parts showed up today. Iím super excited! This is a major step in the engine swap for this winter. Excited itís coming from a company thatís used it to tune turbo five cylinder engines with already. Came with a pre-terminated engine harness. Already set up to control intake and exhaust cam timing. Fits through the E30 firewall hole and has a grommet that fits as well. Now Iíll have an MS3X to sell.

Time for 5 lugs! Nice, what’s the pattern, 5x108? And does Tesla use Brembos or other calipers? Either way, sure it’ll be a nice upgrade. I’m a sucker for the LMs on your wagon, so I’ll be eager to see what those 5 spokes look like on it.

Also, congrats on the huge article, I’ll have to grab a copy on my way home from work...

5x100. That way one stud stays and I only have to drill 4 more spots. Hubs then become 4x100 and 5x100. Itís a Toyota/Subaru/VW bolt pattern so thereís a fair selection of wheels. The five spokes are mostly for mock up. They might live on there temporarily. Tesla calipers are Brembo.

What lead you to go with the Tesla calipers? And what size wheels/tires/brake rotors will you be running?

Using the Tesla calipers cause I had them and theyíre Brembo manufactured. Iíll actually be stepping down a wheel size and running 17Ēs (8 & 9 most likely). The rotors in the front will still be the 330mm rotors I have on there (more like a caliper/pad upgrade), but Iíll finally get around to doing the rear upgrade w/3300mm rotors in back too. Plus upping the Master Cylinder to a 25mm bore unit.
