Where are the 122 owners?

Sounds good, I'll post it up. Can't believe I used to complain about performance parts availability for an '87 MR2... This 122 is a whole different beast. No problem finding used stock parts at least.

And here's the car btw. Needs work. Getting there bit by bit.

Have an Estate waiting for me to finish the Bertone. Then it gets a turn.
Also watching/learning about lowering springs.

I picked up the rustiest wagon in Arizona. The PO decided expanding foam would the best choice to solve the issue; it is less than ideal. Runs like a top as my DD though!

For lowering, I whacked a couple coils off & bent half a coil flat, and I bolted the ball joint to the top-side of the control arms to drop it another inch without loosing the travel. Seems to hold up and handle pretty well.

I also own an amazon that's a little rough around the edges. I will most likely chop the coils to about this (photoshopped) height this summer, unless I can find an ebay coilover kit with longer springs than the honda civic kit.

haha ibcmoore, believe me, i have some very rough spots!
All my window seals were trashed (hence the windows being down) and some rust in the floor pan. Typical 122s!!

Looking great guys, I love the 122s!

For the guys asking about springs, look into used circle track racing parts. They sell springs really cheap almost any weight/height needed.

The "civic" coilovers people are talking about are generic 2.5'' springs.

Maybe this is all common knowledge but I figured I'd throw it out there.
