IRS diff swap question about abs vs non abs.

So I've got a non abs, open diff from a 1989 760 turbo that i'd like to weld up and throw into my 1991 940se but I believe the tone ring reading is different?



That speedo ring count is different from the one on a 1991 940se

I'm told I can swap that bit from my 1991 940se

The tone ring in your 1991 SE should just be that windowed steel ring that presses on to the G-80 carrier. If it is, there is no way to transfer it to the open diff.

Is there an open diff from say a 90 760 or 90 Bertone that would have the same setup?
