New speakers sound great. Maybe I should ditch the spare tire for a sub-woofer cabinet...

Happy new year!

We have a weekend trip to Leavenworth (+/- 300 miles one-way) planned in a few weeks. Looking forward to it. Hope to see snow.

Then the suspension conversion starts. We have, front: STS housings, Saab inserts, BNE camber plates and SAI correctors. And rear: BNE mounts, IPD panhard rod.

I should probably add bump stops to the front. And the BNE hybrid arms are still outstanding. The IPD units are on sale so I will likely grab a set of those so I can put some miles on the set up before Davis.

What do I need to know about pinion angle?

Looking good! If you can, getting that bne brake line bracket would make your life easier down the line.

Sort of related: I thought I saw something about converting brakes to a conventional single line set up. Good idea or not-so-much?

Nope, it's best not to mess with that unless you have the whole system thought out.

I’ve got a spare bell housing.
driveshaft with a deeworks adapter needs to be 47" fyi, for t5. Gives you about 1" to 1.25 of slip travel. The mustang is too short.

Haha I’d be all for it, we go to Leavenworth pretty often. Best brats on earth, and yes very German over yonder.

Found somebody to pull the broken studs from the spare turbo so I can fit the big waste gate. He’ll also do the 3” down pipe. Pretty excited.

Is the late model manifold worth the trouble? It’s now or never.

Pulling broken studs from the turbo was a fail. Now I have a door stop and a WG for sale.

Picked up this to set up the pinion angle.

It may not look like much, but this $100 wheel feels awesome! The steering feels terrific.

Ordered some bump stops and brake line brackets from BNE for the front. Grabbed some IPD rods to tie me over until the BNE hybrid arms arrive. February we install a years worth of parts. That gives me two months until Davis to sort it out.
