Hey all,

Is there a specific wheel stud that I should buy to replace a broken one on my 1987 244? Sorry if I seem like I don't know what I'm talking about (I don't really:))! Any advice much appreciated.

Thanks!

I did studs today. Knocked an out with a punch and a sledge and pulled an back in with a stack of washers and an impact gun.

If I were changing a wheel stud on a 240, I'd use the correct part from Volvo and the Volvo special tools to change it. But that's just me. :-P

:omg:

^ Do want!

The 240 steering wheel nut makes a nice spacer to draw them back in too.

NB:

Be sure to snug the lugs after a drive down to the corner and back.

There's a ?" drive on the end of the screw and the arm keeps the tool from twisting. You don't have to worry about galling the threads on the stud either.
