240 Flathood Conversion Latch Parts

Well, I switched baristas.
My '83 was converted to flat hood but there are no latch parts in either hood or core support. What years can I snag the parts off? Might go on a JY dive later today. Thanks!
 
Interesting, to me they look precisely the same. I wonder what the difference is, I can't see it myself. I just went out an looked at an 92 240 and the hood latch looks just like the ones shown on ebay, but then all of the ones on ebay also look the same regardless of applicable year.
 
The release tongue is shorter.

Nothing 2 minutes with a hacksaw won't fix, if you don't mind the rust drip from the cut.

I tried to use the longer tongue latch on my flathood but it wouldn't line up right after I cut the tongue shorter. I ended up getting a flathood latch but didn't take the time to see what was different. Just bolted it on and it immediately worked. Probably a slight difference in spacing or something like that.

You'll need to adjust the depth of the striker point, as well as hack it up.
