Hi guys, I need your help.

Im really confused

So I got grille and plastic frames for my car with chrome trim, but no lights. Frames and grille like this one has.

I also have this setup with grille, light frames, lights and everything

So I thought that Ill use this lights instead. But they wont fit with chrome trim frames. lights will be kinda deep in like this.

So I want to know what is the difference between these two kind of headligths. The only thing I managed to find out by comparing pictures is that the lights I need have somekind of plastic frame spacer behind headlight mounting frame. So I tried to put spacers behind my headlight mount that I made from a tiny steel tube, the lights now fit okay but I had to but more spacer to lower mounting point than upper ones so the lights will fit normally with plastic frame, although they are illuminating very high, so there is still a problem.

So what is the difference between these two kind of round headligths. Im really confused here.

The spacers have nothing to do with how the headlights are aimed, the brass adjusting screws that go through the square plastic anchors aim the bulbs.

Without the plastic spacers a lot of air will escape through the headlight assembly holes instead of being forced thru the radiator.
