S/V/C 2007 S60, no heat.

Engine has plenty of heat. No real heat is coming out of the dash vents.

Climate control fault?
 
Inlet temp on heater core was ~140? and the outlet was ~100? when checking with a non-contact thermometer under the hood (at the firewall)this morning.

Looks like the heater core must be clogged :-(
 
Nice. Sometimes a backflush will do the trick. Certain late model Camaros have a filter/screen for the heater core inlet that clogs up and will cause a no-heat concern.

This is what I shook out of the old heater core. The old part had the factory date stamp sticker in place and the o-rings were brittle, so it was time... no matter what.

On a side note, this thing is like 100 times easier to swap out than any earlier Volvo models. I'd like to thank the engineer that managed to pull that off, LOL.
