Looks like FCP has them in stock again. I keep hearing that the fit is not perfect but most people seem to fudge until they are more or less ok. Anybody want to post photos of their install and how they did the relays? I've been thinking of buying some but am nervous about poor fit.

I put mine in without relays. They are an improvement even without relays. Just use the stock 55/60 watt H4 bulbs and you're fine with the stock wiring. Mine had the mounting studs pull out after some use but I epoxied them in and they seem to be holding so far. Been in there about 5 years now. Just be sure whatever connectors you use for the headlights are high power high temp connectors. The cheap plastic ones will melt or worse.

Just installed mine last week.

Fitment is mostly fine, no serious issues. I would pay a little more for a kit that included all necessary hardware (headlight trim screws) and new chrome trim for the turn signals. The driver's side trim on mine needs some shims or something to use the screws I stole from the old lights, p-side is fine. Both turn signal trim pieces could benefit from shorter screws, and I had to file down one of the posts to get the trim piece on at all. Ground wires on the new turn signals are way too short. I spliced into the original wiring for those.

To aim them, I marked the old low beam cutoff on the garage wall with tape, and then adjusted when I got the new lights in.

These are OE.

All OE here:

Had a set of DJ's from FCP many moons ago. Shim the studs with washers (M6) to get a good fit. *Do* use relays. Even with standard H4's, you'll notice a difference.

You bought the kit from FCP Euro?

FCP ecodes. I didn't use the relay and my wiring is ghetto on the high beams, which is ok since my switch is bad. I will probably redo it if I keep the car much longer. +1 on taking the studs out and cementing them in. I used the 'rare' trims for a flathood grill and i had to trim the grill and they still don't fit quite right. I only did this because my set only came with 1 of the trim pieces from FCP, previous owner got kinda screwed.
