Hi,

I have a problem that when I press the unlock button nothing happens. The red light doesn't even blink on the fob. THe previous owner said that the light was blinking at one point and then stopped. I have new CR2032 batteries in both fobs and both don't blink at all. Should I change the switches?

Any ideas?

Thanks for helping me.

Is the remote an aftermarket device or original equipment on your 1932 Hupmobile? There is a sync button on most aftermarket units. Press buttons on both fob and receiver at the same time. Original equipment may have a sync process. Check your Owners Manual.

Some auto parts stores in the US have fob test equipment to verify that the fob is transmitting.

Check around the battery in the fob for corrosion.

Hello Test Point, thanks for your advice.
I have checked the battery it's fine and the remote is original equipment. Now I have to visit the auto parts stores for test equipment to verify the fob transmitting. Then I will tell you what I get.

Thanks again for your help.
