I have a 1976 242DL I want to install a spool in the rear end, so both tires always spin.

I plan on using this car off road only.

Sorry I haven't looked for a newer link to Stus page. I do still have the tru track in my 82 turbo. It's got 90k miles on it now. Still works but it's worn. If you get one it's best to get the newer version with preload which is setup better for rwd. I would get another one.

Just surfing around, and noticed this seller has a number of locking Dana 30 units for 27/30 splined shafts.

History Tidit - AMC-15 rear-end was installed on Ramblers in 1962, and in 1985 Dana Holding Corporation bought American Motors (AMC) axle tooling equipment and renamed it to Dana 35. "Dana upgraded the axle, and made IFS and Twin Traction Beam front axle variations, as well."
