240 Cracks on the door :D

As the title says. This is the drivers door of my car. The hinges worn out, previous owner did not adjust the door, and the door became harder and harder to close. Thats what caused these. :lol:

I've seen cracks like that on many 240s. That area tends to flex more for some reason, softer metal (?) Also with the slamming of the door and leaning on the door with your arm over the years stuff happens.
 
misadjusted/worn power window regulator adds to the inner door frame's stress also.

Checked the passenger door, same cracks. It seems this is a real design flaw... :uh:

I'll reinforce these places, because the whole door acts like it will come apart in any minute. And i hope these cracks won't ever come up again.
