nice! so why exactly are you replacing the skid plate? is yours bent up like most are?

Exactly..And because the new one is much cooler!:p The old one also have giant holes to reach the engine mounts, I dont need that anymoore..But need to make some holes to reach the stearing bolts tough

Edit: I also want to put an aluminium plate under the engine so tought it would be a good idea to make a little bit thicker plate so it will be strong!

Welded more on my friend intake manifold yesterdaySome welds was nice and some not so nice..Would help if I trained more on other things inbetween my welding assignmenst:p

where the intake cracked did you drill out the end? also crater fill the end of the weld thats really important on aluminum, i think i see a small crater maybe im just seeing things but it will prevent further cracking.

I didnt drill out the end, but grinden 10mm longer then the crack..Should be the same deal??

Crater filling was a good tipI wasnt aware that it is so imporant on aluminium..Never tought about it before since my weldings always goes all the way around..Thanks for the tips!!

looks good. I like the billet flange too. don't forget to flatten the throttle body flange.

Are these a lower chassis brace? If so, do you have some dimensions of it? I'd like to fabricate one as well because stiffer than GT lower chassis brace.

Finished an E intake for a guy on vccn



Pressed the pipe in a hose press to get it from 18mm inside to 14mm


Finish


Drilled hole and welded

Pulled the engine out on the floor again


Mounted



Didnt fit, but got a new one from a friend


Started looking on the water pipe..Will be something like this!
