Nah these things seem pretty damn strong. I'm going to be changing the cam soon as well as installing the pac 1218s then it will be off to the drags, I may change turbo before as well.

Here's the burnout video, kinda crappy but you guys get the idea

Just did the 3rd oil change on the car. I'm keeping the intervals at about every 1500 miles because I absolutely thrash this car and I am ocd about cutting open the oil filters now. Lol

Got a dyno appointment today so I made sure we went out and destroyed the tires yesterday!

Well, had too much fun the day before the dyno. Apparently doing donuts, burnouts, and trying to roll race lambos is not good for the transmission. I destroyed the new tq converter and the 80e. I believe that the trans cooling situation is not up to snuff

Well after a month of sitting around, I got some motivation. I ordered a new torque converter to hold me over till the billet one gets flushed out. I'm gonna throw my spare 80e in for now because the gearstar I ordered is on back order :/ they said it would take 6 weeks to get and I miss driving my car

"with an auto is there as much need for a tranny blanket ?"

"Nah these things seem pretty damn strong."

".....doing donuts, burnouts, and trying to roll race lambos is not good for the transmission. I destroyed the new tq converter and the 80e."

Oops.

Love the build -- the burnout under the bridge was inspiring. Easy enough to build a stronger tranny for it.

Nice, I had XC90's in mind but the Caddy's seem to be an easy fit and pretty big as well. What disc size are you running?
