Default Hopefully not too annoying (newbie 945 b230ft build)

After my last post, the sale of the Volvo I was buying fell through at the last minute. But no worries. After a bit more saving, I reckon I will be able to afford a 945 b230ft in a few months, I Can rent out a garage to store and i have about 2 years before i give my Fiesta back to ford so a rebuild isn't off the cards. I have seen some threads regarding making power but i have no idea what you are on about at some points. anyway after getting it up to standard, i want to push a little power relatively safety, i heard 300hp is doable safely and relatively cheap? so i have a list of parts/ things to do. if there is anything i should change or look out for let me know:

Manual Boost Controller and Boost gauge
IPD turbo cam - anyone know where to find these in the uk?
H Beam forged connecting rods
SCANIA intercooler
Turbo - I've heard about T5's 19T's and 15G's, anything a relatively straight swap?
Custom 3 inch turboback exhaust
Custom Manifold
3" Bosch 012 Maf from a 960
"Freddie chip" - I assume this is a fuel cut chip
CBV and EGR blanking plates
"Brown top injectors" - are these straight swap?

If it has a 't' cam, swap in an 'a' cam which shouldn't be too difficult for you to source. I would not invest in h beams unless you have the extra coin. You can buy an intercooler from kl racing that is drop in and not too hard on the wallet.

IF you can source a cosworth t3 turbo, that would be your best bet. A 19t would only be good for about 250-260 bhp. Custom manifold is overkill but you could modify a b21f intake for a few more ponies. I don't know how difficult it would be to source one in your region.

Many chip providers(a few on this forum). Fred's chips are not cheap.

The consensus is that there are better options for injectors than brown tops. All you have to do is bypass the ballast resistor that is inline with injectors and you can run any high impedance injectors. Brown tops do swap over with no issue if you decide to use them.

cheers for the quick reply, but how do i know which cam i have got? i have just seen a t3 turbo for about £150 ~ £200 or a hybrid t3 for £300 so that was a very good idea so thank you for that. and is there a power rating for the brown tops? as i might put them in to start with

You would have to at the very least pull off distributor and use a small mirror to see what letter is printed on back of cam. Picture below. I don't much about the brown tops so I couldn't tell you what they are rated for.

I thought the b230ft motors came with the T cam, even accross the pond. Is that not so?
