Hey guys, the other day i was driving and i stop at a red light. When it turns green and its time for me to go i go to put it in first but it wont go, it feels like its being blocked, so i quickly went through all the other gears and back to first and it was finel. This happened again a couple of times and tis pissing me off. Seems like its been happening only in extreme colds.

Where does the clutch start to grab...with the pedal near the floor, or the pedal near the top? This is a classic sign of an out of adjustment clutch cable, but if that's the cause then you won't be able to shift into reverse w/o grinding.

It could just be the cold fluid in an old trans. Sometimes my M47 won't go into 1st imediately, but shifting to another gear, or just putting it in neutral, taking my foot off the clutch, and then clutch in and shift and it usually goes fine.
