Default 3 Guys and 1 Coupe

Well, Geoff called Aaron & I over to his place to help him out with the 242.

This motor is running fine, so let's yank it.

Aaron showing off his best side.

Found this at the Pick N Pull this morning in a car that ran into a curb so hard it bent the front crossmember.

But this motor isn't for the 242. It's going into the $500 wagon hiding in the back yard.

It's going into the gold wagon with the blown motor.

Is it worth more if you steam clean & the paint is already gold?

Project cars are everywhere around here.

Bear - the silent sentinel.

This is about the time we discovered a piece of gum behind the front grille.

Getting isht done.

It wouldn't be Turbobricks without somebody wearing the butt helmet.

Decided it was time to feast.

One of us drinks like a Sir.

Engine is on its way out.

Engine is out.

Took the transmission off to find this:

Something is not right here.

Meanwhile Geoff was trying to figure out how to mount his new tire.

That's as far as we got for now. The PNP motor is going into the gold car to flip for profit. The 242's motor is going to sit in the garage for a bit while Geoff sources a V8 & tow hitch so he can use the 242 to tow his project VTEC Rabbit GTI to & from the track.

Looks like a blast. I love drinking beers and working on cars with a few friends.

It mostly turns into beer drinking.

Haha fun stuff! I really need to start taping my garage sessions. They just about always go like that. Also, looked like a productive day. Can't wait to see some more progress on that 242!
