S/V/C Broken Handle Above Door

Above the front passengers side door, there is a broken handle. It looks like there are holes for two screws, but only one screw in the handle. The one screw in the handle freely passes in/out of the white plastic piece on the car. Are there any suggestions on how to fix this?

And it is a screw. Torx bit.

You know I don't know the difference

To me a screw is more like a self tapping with a head for flat or Phillips

While bolts are everything else including self tapping

I'm thinking that should be a 10mm bolt there

I just had mine apart. Each handle has 4 torx screws.

I imagine that one of his backed out, then the pink gorilla grabbed the handle and pulled the remaining screw out, stripping the hole.

It's not a bad idea to open them up and tighten those screws from time to time. Several of mine were loose when I pulled my headliner.

Yup, found out one day that all my handles were loose and retightend them all. Would recommend doing it every few years as they rattle loose over time.
