Hello, :help:
i just got a 242 ti. there is a micro scopic amount of rust on the bottom of the rear trunk panels or what ever you call those things that hang down and usually rust away. What is the best way to treat this area and it to keep it from never coming back. I hate the site of rusty quarterpanels. What is everyones tips and tricks. Im not gonna drive the car in the wintermonths when roads are salted. Is there any kind of special coating?

AHHH yes ospho. The best rust converter. Its sold at homedepot by the gallon. I am restoring a 69 vw squareback and i used it all over the pans. It takes 24 hours for it to dry. then you can paint over it. Now if you want something that is expensive and Works Awesome. Then try here
