Default do88 intercooler

hi was trying to fit an 740 intercooler on my 242 glt kjet 1984 and i have to modify basically the whole front, has anyone installed a do88 and if it fits with just a few mods?

Picture of the IC? if it was a 1992 740 IC then for sure it will not fit.

The older style IC should of fit.

it fits but i will have to modify cut or whatever the kjet i prefer buying another intercooler

Mine fits perfectly fine. It will fit fine around k jet as well. All you have to do is cut the rubber mounts a little.

I got the 700-900 series radiator for cars without AC. So you don't need to get a do88 one, just the right style, although the do88 one is great.

Dam! That engine looks so sexy!! Where is it at on power? With the DO88 IC figured the Nathan manifold was out but I was planning late model ps pump

Thanks. No idea what the power is.

Yeah, you can definitely get the Nathan manifold to fit with a d088, but you have to make a pretty tight curve with the piping. I have plenty of room with the saginaw ps pump. I don't think the late style pump would be a problem if you put the reservoir in a good spot.

Thanks most that got one is not selling and I have had a couple and let them go!
