Default Tentshed's skid car....Supercharged b230f

Alright, so plan is to post a few pics of the finished product, if the pics work, I will start from the beginning and show the build! (not spending hours uploading and linking only to have it disappear...RIP Photobucket build threads...)

Basic specs:

1990 b230f from a 240
Gen III Eaton m90 from a Pontiac GTP
UEL header, loosely based on a 1320 Twister for the Honda Bseries
Ms2extra
Water methanol injection, Homebrew, with duel nozzles
Yamaha R1 ITBs (gutted, fuel rail and injectors in stock location)
55lb injectors

M46, Saab 900t pp on a flat flywheel, full face organic disc
Welded 1031 axle
Duel caliper setup with eBay hydro
Recaro reps, sparco wheel, lots of gauges,

Goal was something fun to try drifting, make cool noises, and have decent usuable power using parts I had left over.

So far it's running 12psi with a 3.8" blower pulley, 5.5" crank. IATs are around 90f with the water on, if I go to smaller pulleys I will probably run an air to water setup. Power is very strong, with fantastic bottom end, I would estimate around 180hp at the crank? Engine has 348xxx kms, perfect race clearances!

Been following along on Instagram. A Grand Prix gtp is what got me interested in cars. Great noise your car makes.

That header and sc setup got 'em like "Yo, you subie swapped your Volvo and then supercharged it?!!!"

Dare to be different for sure. This is pretty neat.

Props on the ridiculous blower setup, I dig it.

Been a while, car has been running well all season, have been having a blast learning to drift it, makes great noises! went progressively smaller on the pulleys and settled at 18psi. Thats getting up there for a roots blower! but IATs were around 160f with the water injection.
Decided to add a 600hp air to water intercooler from frozen boost, with a corvette radiator in the back and twin ice tanks and pump in the trunk. That dropped my intake temps down to about 90f, and ended up shutting one water nozzle off so currently only a single using 525cc injecting 50/50 at 5psi and above.
Still using a single coil with direct coil control, and I am seeing the limits of my ignition system at this boost level. Have played with dwell and spark duration and plug gaps to some sucess, but ordered a 32-1 trigger wheel and a diy hall sensor to make my own trigger setup on the front crank pulley. Wasted spark and LS coils will be next.
Oh I also added a Holset turbo......., have been wanting to try twincharging since I found out about forced induction. I will try to upload some pics asap, there is a ton on my IG feed (@tentshedtrev), but Ive been bad about updates! So far I am extremely happy with how it works, the combination of blower and turbo noises is unlike anything Ive ever enjoyed!

I was lucky enough to see this car in action yesterday (and hopefully today!) I've gotta say it's crazier than pictures can do justice. The engine bay is bonkers, and the cars performance matches.
And the sound!
Just pure insanity!

Double post double edit.
Got called into work so I'm missing the end of the day here.
Neither car nor driver disappointed and I overheard more than a few groups of guys in the stands marvelling at this godlike 740.

Thanks for a great show this weekend man!

Hey thanks for the kind words! Had a blast at the last drift event!!!! car ran fantastic all weekend, minus the wastegate breaking off from the manifold at the end of the second day haha. 20+psi on a stock b230f makes for some rowdy action, seems to be able to keep up with the SR and mild RB 240sx crowd no problem! Mostly have just been working on seat time, although I did add dual rear sway bars and modded knuckles up front to gain some more steering angle. Oddly enough I ended up with a set of Ion alloy 16" rims, -5 offset that cleared everything perfectly! They used to be none other than the infamous Drifts and Lifts actually...funny how small the western Canada drift scene is lol.
With the season almost over the car will probably go into hibernation, the plan is to build a mild ft motor next with a decent flowing head and my rsi stage 3 and yoshi springs. I would like to track down a proper t5 trans, but amazingly enough the m46 is still hanging in there! I will probably do the swap just to minimize the possibility of breaking the driveline, I also have some Griffin 8.8 swap mounts, so if I can source a cheap Explorer rear that might go in too.
The goal is to just have a solid car that can handle multiple track days, but this season has been great learning how to skid and making many many new friends! People love the car and the noises it makes, honestly it puts a smile on everyone's face that rides in it, so I guess in that regard the project is done!
More to come tho
