Volvobrage's widened 242

I posted some pics of a ekspansion tank and a oil cathtank I was making for a guy some pages back..They are no finish and mounted on his car:)He have also polished them, here is a pic!(I think they turned out awsome!:))

Did the finish job on the weldings here..No they are even and the marks you see I can barely feel with my nails..On the other side you dont feel it so I think its okey:)Also the flange is very straith so I wont bother to take it to the fres(?)..

Made a nice arc and grinded the welding flat with it

Used m10 bolts and nuts..This way I can adjust after I finish widen the front fenders so I get the look I want:)

Got this for free from a friend, original 240 turbo exhaust:)Will use this for the test to get the lisensplate for the car and then swap with stainless

Started on the intake..The car this came from had been run on gas so they had pit some nozzles there..Started to remove one to see if I could fix it

Grinded it good and welded..Just melted it out after welding so it would "blend in":)

Tested the radiator in the car, a guy on the norwegian volvoforum wanted to see..The width is perfect, but need to lower it a bit under the crossover:)

A nice guy on volvoforum cutted this out for me from a 91 240!Almost rustfree and very straight:)So no I can replace the crashed peace on my car..

In progress!Under the chrome there was kopper color, maybe something the use to get the chrome to stuk?

After 4,5 HOURS all the chrome was gone!!:-P No the fun begins:)

Started with removing the last of the paint on the outer lip

Finished weatsanding with 800 paper..A friend does the quality controll:lol:
