Hi,

I don?t know if everyone is familiar with the term Veemer, but thats what we in Sweden call a Volvo with a Bmw engine and in my case with turbo :-D .

I have been building this car for about 4 years give or take. I bought the car from a guy that lives halfway up in Sweden like a 620 miles from were I was living when I bought it and were I live now.

But we met up in Stockholm that is halfway for both of us and finished the deal. Then I drove it ALL the way home (no trailer) without insurance, MOT and wrong plates for the car (highly illegal here and I don't recommend it, but I was young and stupid:roll:  ).

This is how it looked like when I brought it home:

Some miscellaneous pictures from some years ago:

And for some more recent pictures:

I've got those 305mm rotors on my 940. Skandix abutments for mounting the 850 calipers..... or will you fit others?

I understand the "young and stupid" comments early in this thread.....when I was 20 a friend and I put his license tags on my newly purchased sedan; the next morning (after a long night of alcohol and girls) I looked at the tags closely and noted they were TRUCK tags! Young and stupid, the same world wide.......

I did follow this tutorial: https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=156900
So I think I'll go with 850 calipers :)

And I ordered the abutsments from a Volvo dealer, and it's the same as those Skandix sells.

I think it's funny that it's the same world wide, now I don't feel so alone anymore
