Sorry my bad English

Have got a 93 mod Volvo 245 GL in Sweden
Was a little more rustic than I had hoped / promised. But the car for a reasonable price, so when I escaped and run with an empty trailer home from Gothenburg.

The car has just over 300k miles, been service car at Volvo until 2005

A couple of pictures of the car:

The aim of the car is to build a full-rigged racecar with speed license. The plan was to maybe try to run some of the GT series and some drifting .. hehe

The goal is to try to build a car that can run both in racing and drifting. So it should not be so much finnish on this car as the previous one. But have to still look good hehe. Will see how this takes off.

A Toyota Soarer.I would take complete front and rear Suspension of this over in the Volvo

Engine, I will not say anything about yet. Standing between a couple of options I do not quite able to decide yet. So we take along.

The plan is to have stripped both vehicles also mount the chassis first, also take it from there

got the dismantled bit yesterday, is still a couple of things, then get to take it next week, the car almost entirely out of parts

Throw out a couple of pictures:

DSC_0218.jpg

And have well decided that there is an LS1 with Single Turbo + + +

The engine has been sent from the USA, is 02 LS1 engine, and looks like I bought my turbo today. Was a Garrett T51, so hope it's going to be okay.
Focus on getting dismantled last remnant of the car today also

The car is fully stripped and lifted onto the trailer. Will run it for a guy who should wash the **** before I start. But do not know when he has time for that yet only

Also, I bought me a brakekit, I would see if I had used the back. Just hope it fits.
Is 330 slices with fixed center and 8stp kalipter

Also a couple of pictures when

Almost pure body:

Turbo:

Display a little tit-bits with the car the other day, he would wash it did not have time. So when I do it myself, I thought

Also on my Escort I have created a body tilt

Had been all right to use this on Volvo `n and, so when I made 2 new brackets and placed on wheels so I could have pushed it out, etc.

DSC_0238.jpg

ready to be pushed back in and then start cutting soon: D

Has not been worked so much on the car during the day, 1 week on holiday also started a new job the week here

But had taken power last weekend. Looks very good 2002mod been 50000 LS1:

Parts come from England, looking forward to this package because then I could try mounted pedalbox and seats and set how to make it to the floor. But the company I got the parts from, had managed to send me the wrong pedalbox: mad:

I order a hanging pedal set with pumps against me, but I get standing by the pumps from me:

Pumps, tanks, hand brake and seat mounts:

Some exhaust parts in place, still need a 3.5 "muffler and flex,
DSC_0431.jpg

DSC_0435.jpg

Also turned the original flywheel and some types 6 Pucka sinter and weighed them, almost 25 kg:
DSC_0429.jpg

Weighted the new "package", just over 7kg:

But di has managed to send me the wrong "base plate" on the clutch, then he would see what he could arrange
Starting to get tired of the wrong parts now

I post 2 pictures of my old Volvo 245 and a movie from rudskogen:

Here are finally some pictures. Has been a bit slow lately, and various other things that have not been done so much, and things take a long time, even if it does not look like it in pictures ... hehe

Started on rear wheel arches, was a bit hard to get it to fit the Volvo and Toyota:

DSC_0439.jpg

DSC_0443.jpg

Will also be a reinforcement plate, from the tower and over and up to the inner screens at the top, doing these now, so come picture gradually
front:
DSC_0451.jpg

back:
DSC_0450.jpg

cut out some of the floor:
DSC_0457.jpg

fitted and welded in a plate, here comes the battery to be folded down:

DSC_0459.jpg

Have "made" the steering collum, from Toyota to a Volvo innerpice:

Toyota - volvo:
DSC_0452.jpg

Shorten a bit:
DSC_0453.jpg

Shortet inn the lover pice:
DSC_0454.jpg

More enough space:
DSC_0455.jpg

A little more right angles to the shaft inside the car:
DSC_0456.jpg

Made gearbox tunnel and some floor now. Then try to get the tunnel to the prop shaft and the floor finish within a week or something. So I can get started on the cage!

Floor plates are welded:
DSC_0460.jpg

Made a "frame" around the gearbox and the hole in the floor:
DSC_0462.jpg

DSC_0464.jpg

Startet to welded it together:
DSC_0467.jpg

Finnish welded:
DSC_0471.jpg

DSC_0472.jpg

DSC_0473.jpg

If you wonder why it is so big on the passenger side, this is the reason:
DSC_0474.jpg

Plenty of space for 3.5 "exhaust, so now the exhaust be" over "the floor of the car, so I will not be dragged with it :)

Things start to fall in place now, the floor will soon close again :D
I reckon to get started on the cage the week ahead now :smokin:

shaft tunnel:

DSC_0480.jpg

raised floor slightly to accommodate the water pipes on one side and exhaust on the other side. I have also created a new "edge to the rear" and the fields where the cage will be:

I also got 3.5 "flex and muffler the other day:

Then comes the least lots of pictures of cagebuilding

The floor finish welded:

Taking the car of the car-o-liner, The garage is VERY messy, so I now what to do
DSC_0531.jpg

Had to put on some suspension parts to see how the wheel was in the fender opening, standing in the middle, but far out as being quite a little over widening I guess. Check the also the angle of the arms. This is way lower that 17 "is almost flush with the wheel arch (helps to put all the posturing, no" up "in the car
DSC_0534.jpg

The car has came down on the wheels for the first time, and begun widening the rear arches to get the wheels below. There are a few things that I am not pleased to be changed on!
