for sure, no doubt they can hold the power, its just extremely expensive to get one around here. you can get a 4l80e for cheap, the last one i bought i paid 100 bucks for it from the junkyard and threw a 100 dollar hd2 kit in it and it will probably last forever. So economically for a high powered turbo ls car the 4l80e just makes the most sense to me :)
:nod: Auto is faster anyways in a straight line. It's not about the HP anyways. Torque is what kills transmissions. You could have 1000HP and 500ft-lb of torque, and a transmission will last forever.

Yea the 4l80es are pretty damn hard to kill. Plus it's nice to just slam it in drive and cruise
 
Well the car is too reliable, let's triple the boost and see where this takes us

WTF i'm looking at, man build me one of those but less HP and no methanol injection.

Nah these things seem pretty damn strong. I'm going to be changing the cam soon as well as installing the pac 1218s then it will be off to the drags, I may change turbo before as well.

Just did the 3rd oil change on the car. I'm keeping the intervals at about every 1500 miles because I absolutely thrash this car and I am ocd about cutting open the oil filters now. Lol
 
Well, had too much fun the day before the dyno. Apparently doing donuts, burnouts, and trying to roll race lambos is not good for the transmission. I destroyed the new tq converter and the 80e. I believe that the trans cooling situation is not up to snuff
