I recently raplaced the two outer sealed beams on the car. I replaced them with the same kind that came off a double filiment bulb. but
this is whats happening
1 the I switch the lights on the outer beams light.
2 I hold the dim switch as if I was signaling someone to pass and both filiments in the outer bulb and the high beams light
3 but when I turn on the high beams permanent only the one of the filiments in the outer bulbs light and the high beams
high beams make the light beam wider and not farther.
Could this be how it should work or
is something wrong with the electric system.
Maybe the outer bulbs should be only a sigle filiment buld.
thanks in advance
