well I

got ahold of a 90+ 700series tail lamp.and tried to fit it to my 240.. I thought it would look nice to swap

right on..but it looks as if u need body work & bondo to make them look nice.. I cant stand the old 6box tail

light styel.. has anyone else tried this mod or what? I got some pics of it already finished

..

its not wired up right now.. but I know basic

electronics so I knwo I can wire them up properly.. maybe even change around the light pattern a lil..
I think

Mike T has already figured out the wire diagram to which wire is for light so i'll prolly ask him for it =)

DUDE! SWEET! How much "bondo" work did you hafta

do, and where? Looks like it lines up pretty nicely. I think I just might copy your idea on those!

man those cars have a fat rear end (comparing

to my slimmer 242GT's deleted wheel wells)

Doug, ohhhh douggggg....

I think this conversion would

really look good on your new paint... the old 6 panel just doesnt look sleek enough. But then you're keeping the

american 81-85 front end... it prolly will balance out.. but that sleeker tailight with your neat and modern

looking paint job...

ya. at first they kinda stuck out way to much

and I disliked it..but after Mike T's thoughts.. I moved it closer to the center and it looks okay with out

having stage any kind of body work..

that looks kinda okay

in person.. but this one below didnt even cut it.
