740 Window goes down, window doesn't go up, and only works with the rear switch

A Volvo with wiring issues, why that never happens . My 740 has an issue where the rear drivers side window rolls down but it doesn't roll up. It will also only roll down with the switch on the rear drivers door, and doesn't do anything when you use the switch on the drivers front door. I yanked the motor a few days ago and it seemed to check out fine on the bench. Any thoughts or similar experiences? Here is the factory wiring diagram for reference. Thanks for your help.

Switch is bad/dirty. Give it a shot of wd40 and work the switch. Up down up down many times. As you see there are only 2 wires going to the motor. Direction happens at the switch.

Thanks for the info. I assumed that cause both the front and rear switches weren't working that it wasn't them. Will have to take a look.

Update: It's colder than frig and my interior is about as durable as old bakelite so I flooded the switches with contact cleaner and worked them back and forth and that seemed to work.
